Haruichi Furudate's Haikyu!! Exhibition Challengers (古舘春一 ハイキュー!!展 挑戦者たち) opens on October 30, 2026 on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower in Tokyo and runs until January 11, 2027.
Tickets are sold exclusively on eplus (イープラス). The venue sells nothing at the door and there are no same-day tickets. Sales are split into lottery rounds and first-come, first-served rounds, and which one applies depends on the date you want.

The split into an earlier and a later run only changes how tickets are sold. The exhibits, the visitor bonus and the shop merchandise are identical.
One spoiler warning: the exhibition includes part of the story that has not been animated yet. If you only follow the anime, decide for yourself how much you want to see.

For the first 10 days, the lottery was your best chance. The organizer stated that entry slots which sold out in the lottery would not be released again in the August 22 general sale. Some tickets from winners who never paid can still come back on sale, but the quantity is unpredictable.
An entry slot is a 30-minute arrival window. There are 17 slots a day, from 10:00 to 18:00, with the last one running 18:00 to 18:30. You choose a date plus a slot, and the ticket only works for that slot.
There was also an earlier presale lottery for paying subscribers of the digital Shonen Jump, which closed on July 26. That round explicitly refused applications from outside Japan, so we have left it out here.
How the lottery round worked
- Entries were made on the eplus website. FamilyMart in-store kiosks did not accept lottery entries. You need an eplus member account, and registering one requires a Japanese mobile number that passes phone verification. That is the wall most overseas fans hit, and it disappears if you enter through us.
- Only October 30 to November 8 were in the lottery. For each date you could list a first, second and third choice slot, with no repeating the same slot on the same day.
- Up to 2 tickets per slot. Across the whole lottery period you could win at most one slot and at most 2 tickets, so applying for every date you could attend carried no risk of winning twice.
- Results came around 13:00 on Friday, August 14. Winners had to pay by 21:00 on Thursday, August 20. A missed payment voided the win outright.
Ticket issuance started on Saturday, August 22: paper tickets from convenience store machines from 10:00, digital tickets (スマチケ) from 15:00.
The general sales (August 22 and November 14)
The earlier run went on sale at 10:00 on Saturday, August 22, and the later run opens at 10:00 on Saturday, November 14. Both sell on eplus, with a maximum of 5 tickets per entry slot, and they stop when the slots sell out.
Prices and fees
All prices include tax. Student tickets can be checked at the door against a Japanese student handbook (生徒手帳), so overseas visitors should buy the general ticket.

On top of the ticket price, eplus charges its own platform fees for the lottery entry, the sale, the payment and the ticket collection. The exact amounts show on the checkout page.
We usually recommend the paper ticket. You collect it at a convenience store near the venue shortly before you go, and it avoids the digital ticket app entirely.
Buying from outside Japan
You have two routes. You can create your own eplus account, which still needs someone with a Japanese number to clear the verification for you, or you can have someone buy the ticket on your behalf. We do both. The contact link is at the bottom of this page.
Worth knowing even if you are reading this late: there are no door sales, so a trip without a ticket is a wasted trip. Ask us to check your dates for remaining tickets before you assume they are gone.
Bonuses
Visitor bonus: player cards
Everyone who enters with a ticket receives one player card (プレイヤーズカード) at random, from a set of 8 pairs covering 16 characters. The back of each card carries stats and a short scouting comment from the 2018-19 season.

The goods-inclusive ticket (¥4,400)
The bonus is an 8-card set with foil-stamped facsimile signatures and a custom binder (サイン入りプレイヤーズカードセット・特製バインダー付). The cards cover 8 characters and are finished with holographic foil and a printed signature design. The back shows 2024-25 season stats and comments, and the binder holds all 8 cards.
Rules attached to this ticket:
- Quantities are limited, with separate caps for the earlier and later runs. Once a cap is reached the ticket stops selling for every entry slot in that run.
- You have to enter the exhibition to claim the set inside the venue. Miss your visit and the claim expires. Collection happens in person at that venue only, so shipping, convenience store pickup and claiming at another venue are all unavailable.
- The official shop does not sell this set separately. The goods-inclusive ticket is the only way to get it.
Blind-box merchandise sells through a visitors-only online store
Random merchandise, meaning single blind items and full sets, is ordered online at the Jump Characters Store using a serial code handed out inside the venue. If you get a code on your visit, you can ask us to place the order for you.
- One code per person per entry. Transfers and resale are prohibited, and expired codes stop working.
- Order windows: earlier-run visitors from Oct 30 13:00 to Dec 7 23:58, later-run visitors from Dec 11 13:00 to Jan 18, 2027 23:58.
- Shipping takes a long time. Earlier-run orders ship from late July 2027, later-run orders from late September 2027. Shipping is a flat ¥880.
- Delivery is inside Japan only, with no overseas shipping. Registering with that store also requires a Japanese phone number.
On the day
Arrive within your slot. Early arrival does not get you in early
Go to the ticket counter on floor 3 within the check-in time printed on your ticket and exchange the ticket for a QR entry pass, then head up. Arriving early only puts you in the queue sooner.
No suitcases inside, but there are paid lockers
Suitcases, wheeled bags and large luggage cannot come in. Neither can umbrellas, selfie sticks or other long items. Food and drinks are prohibited in the gallery, except for items that stay stowed inside your own bag. Floor 52 has coin lockers that refund the ¥100, but large luggage is better left at a station or your hotel.
Translation apps are not allowed in the gallery
To avoid disturbing other visitors, the gallery bans translation apps, along with audio recording, copying artwork by hand and taking notes. Plan to read the Japanese captions as they are, or read up before you go.
Photography rules
Only a few designated spots allow photos, and only with a phone or tablet. Flash, selfie sticks and tripods are banned, video and audio recording are banned throughout, and cameras such as DSLRs are not allowed.
FAQ
Can overseas fans buy tickets for the Haikyu!! exhibition?
Yes, but not directly on your own without a Japanese account. If you have a friend in Japan you can ask them to enter for you. Otherwise we can buy the tickets for you, set up the eplus account, or arrange the Japanese SIM the account needs.
What if I lose the lottery?
The August 22 general sale for the earlier run is now open, although slots that sold out in the lottery may not return. Ask us to check whether your date and time slot still have inventory. The later run, December 1 to January 11, will be available only through a first-come, first-served sale opening at 10:00 Japan time on November 14. After Tokyo the exhibition travels: Grand Front Osaka runs April 24 to June 20, 2027, and a Sendai venue is planned for summer 2027 with details unannounced. We take bookings for those too. The organizer says the exhibits, merchandise line-up and bonuses at touring venues may differ from Tokyo.
Is the earlier run different from the later run?
No. The organizer states that the exhibits, the visitor bonus and the shop merchandise are the same in both runs. Only the way tickets are sold differs.
How many tickets can I buy at once?
In the lottery, up to 2 tickets per entry slot, and across the whole lottery period you can win at most one slot. In the first-come, first-served sale, up to 5 tickets per entry slot, so one lead booker can bring up to four guests.
Can I bring a child?
Yes. One ticket holder aged 18 or over can bring one preschool child aged 6 or under in for free. Children over 6 need a ticket. Free accompanying children do not receive the visitor bonus card. Strollers may have to be checked in if the gallery is crowded. The venue has an accessible restroom and a nursing room.
